Earlier this Thursday, Kanye West met with President Donald Trump in the White House to discuss issues like prison reform and urban revitalization.
During the meeting Kanye West went on a 10 minute rant, in which he mostly praised President Trump.
“Let’s stop worrying about the future all we have is today. … Trump is on his hero’s journey right now. He might not have thought he’d have a crazy motherf—er like (me),” said West.
Kanye then began talking about Hillary Clinton and the 2016 election as he was wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat.
“I love Hillary. I love everyone, but the campaign ‘I’m With Her,’ just didn’t make me feel as a guy, who didn’t get to see his dad all the time, like a guy that could play catch with his son. There was something, when I put this hat on, it made me feel like Superman,” said West.
Kanye then looks at Trump and says, “You made a Superman cape for me. That’s my favorite superhero.”
At one point, a reporter asks Trump if Kanye could be the next U.S. president.
Trump responds by saying, “Could very well be”.
“Only after 2024”, added West.
After Kanye speaks for about 10 minutes, Trump interrupts and says,“I tell you what, that was pretty impressive. That was quite something.”
“It was from the soul,” said Kanye. “I just channeled it.”
West has been a Trump supporter since he was elected, and they previously met at the Trump Tower back in December 2016.
